      After you talk with Lumir, he requests you Collect the red mushrooms. You can open your world map with an area marked with a blue circle.

      First, check the area where the Mushroom spawns from the map. You can find the place within the area that is inside the blue circle.

        Then, you will need to head there on foot. For some reason, players claim the Red Mushrooms do not spawn when they go to the area on their horses.

        Furthermore, after you get to the area on foot, there are two points where you can find the Red Mushrooms.

          However, the red mushroom does not have a red look; rather it looks like contaminated vegetation.

            Finally, harvest the Red Mushroom and deliver it back to Lumir.
