Tap on Change settings.

After signing in, make sure the “Back up & sync” Slide button is enabled.

How to enable the backup feature manually?
After opening the Google Photos app, follow the below-mentioned steps to enable back up feature.
Open the Google Photos app.
Just below the Search bar at the top, Backup and sync is off will be displayed.

Find Photos fast:

To find your recent pictures:

How To Delete All Old Whatsapp Photos And Videos From Your Iphone
WhatsApp saves the same pictures and videos in two places – inside the WhatsApp app and the iPhone Photos app. You can easily stop WhatsApp from saving images to your iPhone Photos app. But one copy still unknowingly remains inside the chat app.
If you have lots of one-to-one and group conversations on WhatsApp, these media files might be occupying several GBs of space.
In this handy tutorial, we show you how to delete old WhatsApp photos and videos from your iPhone to free space and keep things fast.
Before you begin: You might have important memories, receipts, screenshots, and such in your WhatsApp chats. So, make sure you delete things after double-checking.
Delete WhatsApp media from the Photos app
WhatsApp automatically makes a new album in your iPhone’s Photos app and keeps all the incoming media there.
Here’s how to delete WhatsApp photos from your iPhone Camera Roll:
1) Open the Photos app and tap Albums from the bottom.
2) Choose See All to see all albums and tap the one called WhatsApp.
3) Tap Select.
4) Now, you can tap Select All or just quickly run your fingers to select only the desired media you wish to delete.
You have successfully deleted WhatsApp pictures and videos from your iPhone’s Photos app. However, they are still in the Recently Deleted section of the iOS Photos app for 30 days. So, go there to delete them now and free space immediately.
Delete WhatsApp photos and videos inside the chat app
As mentioned in the beginning, WhatsApp stores one copy of the images in the app as well. So, after you delete the ones visible in the Photos app, you can delete another copy from inside the WhatsApp app using any of the following ways.
Delete from individual chat
Here’s how to see all pictures and videos from a particular WhatsApp chat and delete them:
1) Inside WhatsApp, go to a person or group chat and tap their name from the top.
2) Select Media, Links, and Docs. You will now see all files shared by this person or group. It also includes the images you sent.
3) Tap Select and run your finger to select the files.
4) Finally, tap the delete trash icon and confirm.
Delete from Manager Storage section
WhatsApp has a handy storage setting where you can see the total space used by the app files, the conversations taking the most space, etc.
Here’s how to manage your storage on WhatsApp by deleting unnecessary media:
1) Choose Settings from the lower right of WhatsApp.
2) Tap Storage and Data.
3) Select Manage Storage.
5) Alternatively, you can also see the chats taking the most space. From here, tap a chat to view all the media files and select all or just the desired ones to delete them.
Delete the entire conversation
If you delete the entire WhatsApp conversation, along with the chats, it also deletes all the media sent and received with that person or group from your device. Doing so can free a significant amount of local space on your iPhone.
Here’s how to delete a WhatsApp chat to get rid of all the media from that conversation:
1) Inside WhatsApp, make sure you’re in the Chats section.
Tip: While cleaning, don’t forget to go to the Archived section and delete old chats from there too.
Clear or delete all WhatsApp chats
Inside WhatsApp settings, there are two buttons that can clear all chats or delete all chats.
If you clear all chats in WhatsApp, all messages and media from all conversations will be deleted from your device, but the chat names will still stay listed in the Chats section. When you tap any person or group chat, it will be empty.
If you delete all chats on WhatsApp, every conversation, along with all the messages and media, will be deleted. The Chats section will have no individual chats, but just the group chats you’re a part of.
Depending on your choice, you can choose to do either.
Here’s how to clear or delete all WhatsApp chats:
1) Open WhatsApp and tap Settings.
2) Tap Chats.
3) Tap Clear All Chats or Delete All Chats.
4) Enter your WhatsApp phone number and confirm to clear or delete all chats.
Delete the WhatsApp app
By now, you know several methods to delete old photos, videos, and documents from WhatsApp chats and those saved by it locally on your iPhone.
However, if you’re having trouble managing space or just want to start fresh, you can delete the WhatsApp app and reinstall it. Doing so will eliminate all the chats, pictures, GIFs, videos, links, PDFs, etc. (unless you restore a WhatsApp chat backup).
Note: Deleting the WhatsApp application from your iPhone won’t remove you from the WhatsApp groups you’re a part of.
Delete your WhatsApp account
Finally, if you want to go extreme, you can delete your WhatsApp account, which will clear all media from your device. It will also exit you from any WhatsApp groups you’re a part of.

How To Organize Photos On Mac
All of us have a few personal images stored somewhere on our computers. These pictures are usually cluttered up on our system, taking up a significant amount of disk space. Hence, organizing them would make it easier for us to modify and navigate through our memories.
The photos are best organized on a Mac computer through the built-in Photos app. Through this app, not only can you manage your images in different ways, but you can also sync them altogether through your iCloud account. The application is pretty smooth with its operations and easy to follow through with its different features.
Like any other application, you can access the Photos app either from the Finder or your Launchpad. It offers the most convenient way for you to organize your photos. And once you do so, you can view and alter all your pictures directly through this application in an effective and efficient manner.
The library contains all the media files imported into your Photos app. These pictures and videos can be sorted and viewed either in Years, Months, or Days format.
If you choose to do so, the application will compile all the images that were taken/edited in the said timeframe.
But, not all the pictures stored on your Mac computer will not automatically appear on the Photos app. That is because all the media files on your Photos app can be synced through your iCloud account.
Doing so will let you view all those media files from multiple devices that have the same Apple ID. You can also enable or disable the iCloud sync can at your will.
So, taking this into consideration, here’s how you import images to the Photos app:
Open Photos.
Choose the required images and Import them.
This image can now be accessed from your Photos Library.
The Photos library might not be the only library on your system. For e.g., images taken from your system webcam are stored in a different library and different locations on your computer. You can, however, directly switch the main photo library on your Photos application through its preference settings. Here’s how to do so:
Open Finder.
Hold Option and open Photos.
On the Photos application, you have the option to group your images in terms of People and Places. These options can be accessed from the left sidebar of your application.
Open the image you want to assign a location on.
Type the related location and select it from the drop-down list.
Here, you also have the option to Add Faces. However, as mentioned above, the application automatically scans and groups the faces on the People tab.
Memories offer a fun way to view and organize your media files. It shows a slideshow of the selected images, along with music in the background. The slideshow can be altered to move at a faster or slower pace as well.
To create a new memory, follow the steps shown below:
Open Photos.
Then, open an album from under My Album.
Set a new name for your memory and Save it.
You can alter the pace of your memory slideshow as well. Here’s how you can do it:
Play a memory.
You can decrease the background volume by using the volume slider on the ribbon menu as well.
Unlike Memories, People and Places, albums are not automatically created by your Photos application. You can create a new album and organize them by following the steps shown below:
Open Photos.
Name this album.
Smart album is a feature of Photos that lets you specify certain image conditions for that particular album. Once you pick the conditions, the system automatically creates a (smart) album consisting of all the images that match those conditions.
Open Photos.
Choose to create Smart Album.
Then, choose to match any or all of the following conditions.
Any photos/videos that meet those conditions are automatically added to this smart album.
All the albums you create on the Photos app can be accessed through the Photos sidebar. You can change the order of these albums by holding them and dragging them up or down on the sidebar album list. When you drag an album and drop it on top of another, you’ll get an option to Merge those two albums.
To add pictures and videos to an album, follow these steps:
Open Photos.
Select Library from the sidebar.
Select your album from the drop-down list.
Shared Albums lets you share your albums with your friends. You can create a shared album and invite your iCloud contacts to view the images inside the album. The invitees can also add their images to that album. Here’s how you can configure a shared album on your system:
Open Photos.
Enter a Shared Album Name.
Open the album you just created from the sidebar.
Folders contain albums inside of them. By default, you’ll see four folders on your Photos application sidebar; Media Types, Shared Albums, My Albums and My Projects.
Media Types breakdowns your media files into Videos, Selfies, Portrait, Time-lapse, and Screenshots. You can view the required media file from these independent breakdowns. Shared Albums and My Albums contain all the respective albums you manually created. Similarly, My Project groups every project you’ve made.
However, you can create your own new folder as well. You can then add the required albums to this folder to better optimize and manage your photo catalogue. Here’s how to do so:
Open Photos.
Set a name for your new folder.
Projects in Photos come in the form of photo extensions. These extensions let you print out a physical copy of Books, Calendars, Cards, Wall Decor and Prints of your selected photos. The final ‘printed’ product will be physically delivered to your location.
There is one virtual project that you can create from the My Projects menu. That is, the Slideshow project lets you create a slideshow for the selected images along with music in the background. These slideshows are presented on Photos in the form of a Project and not as a Memory. So, here’s how you create a Slideshow project:
Open Photos.
From the right of the preview window, select the desired Themes, Music and slideshow payback Duration.
When you sync Photos on iCloud, your media library is copied to the iCloud servers. You can then view the library from multiple devices that are connected with the same Apple ID or from the iCloud website.
If you are running out of space on your Mac, you can delete the media library completely from the system, as the entire catalogue will get uploaded to the iCloud servers. So, here’s how you sync your photos through iCloud:
Open Photos.
Navigate to the iCloud tab.
Set up your iCloud account.
Then, once this is done, open Finder.
Select iCloud from the sidebar.
Ios 16: How To Transfer Pictures To Shared Library On Photos App
iOS 16 adds a new way to share pictures and videos from a recent trip or a gathering with your friends and family members using iCloud Shared Photo Library. With this feature, you can move certain pictures from your personal collection to the Shared Library so everyone can view or edit them or add content of their own in a single shared space.
While Apple offers numerous ways to share these pictures automatically during setup or from the Camera app, you can still transfer anything you want to the Shared Library manually using the Photos app. In this post, we’ll explain how you can do that, what happens when moving content to the Shared Library, how to view them, and more.

How to manually transfer photos to Shared Library
When you create or join a Shared Library on iOS 16, the Photos app will automatically categorize your pictures and videos into Personal Library and Shared Library. Unless configured otherwise, not all of the content from your iPhone is transferred to the Shared Library, so you may need to move some of your pictures and videos manually after the initial setup.
One way to move content is by sharing photos directly from the Camera app to the Shared Library. However, you won’t be able to move existing pictures from your iPhone to the Shared Library using this method. To move those pictures, you’ll have to transfer them manually from the Photos app to the Shared Library.
To transfer photos to Shared Library manually, open the Photos app.
You can either transfer your content individually or in bulk and we’ll explain both of these ways below.
Transfer a photo or video individually
To move a single picture or video to the Shared Library, tap on it inside the Photos app.
This will open the content in fullscreen view. To share this picture/video, tap on the 3-dots icon at the top right corner.
In the overflow menu that appears, select Move to Shared Library.
The picture will now be moved out of your Personal Library and sent to the Shared Library.

Transfer multiple photos and videos
To move photos and videos in bulk to the Shared Library, you need to first select them inside the Photos app. Inside this app, tap on Select at the top right corner.
You can now select all the pictures you want to move to the Shared Library by tapping on them. When a picture is selected, you’ll see a tick mark with a blue background on it.
After you’ve selected the content you’d like to move, tap on the 3-dots icon at the bottom right corner.
In the overflow menu that appears, select Move to Shared Library.
The selected content will now be moved to the Shared Library.
What happens when you transfer photos to Shared Library?
When you transfer any content on the Photos app to the Shared Library, the selected content is taken out of your Personal Library and moved to the Shared Library. To notify you about the content you just moved, iOS will show a “Move to Shared Library Completed” banner at the bottom of the screen.
Since the Photos app is, by default, set to show you Both Libraries (Personal and Shared), you’ll see photos and videos that are available in both the Personal Library and Shared Library at all times, unless you change your Library View. None of the pictures and videos will, however, stay in both the libraries inside the Photos app. This means that when you switch to Personal Library, you won’t see the content you moved to the Shared Library and vice versa.
Can you transfer your photos automatically?
Yes, depending on how you set up Shared Library at the very start. Existing content in the Photos app will ONLY move to the Shared Library automatically if you had selected either of these options when setting up Shared Library on your iPhone – All My Photos and Videos or Choose by Date. We’ll explain which of your content gets transferred automatically below.
If you selected All My Photos and Videos during setup, the Photos app will move all pictures from your existing library to the Shared Library as well as any new content you capture or save on your iPhone.
If you selected Choose by Date during setup, the Photos app will move everything you capture since a starting date that you specified at the time of setting up the Shared Library. With this option, only photos you’ve taken or saved since the specified date will be moved from your Personal Library to the Shared Library. Any content older than the set date will be kept within your Personal Library.
Your photos and videos WON’T be transferred automatically to the Shared Library if you opted to manually share them during the initial setup. In such cases, the only way to move the existing content to the Shared Library is by transferring them using the Photos app as explained in the guide above.
Regardless of how you set up Shared Library on your iPhone, you can still move new content to the Shared Library automatically from the Camera app by following the guide in the link below.

How to check what’s in your Shared Library
The Photos app can show you pictures and videos from your Personal Library, Shared Library, or both at once. When the Library View inside the app is set to Both Libraries, you can take a quick glance at the content that’s present inside the Shared Library by tapping on Select at the top right corner.
The Photos app will now reveal all the pictures and videos in the Shared Library by marking them with multi-user icons.
This way, you can differentiate this content from pictures outside the Shared Library, which won’t be marked with any icons as such.
Another way to check what’s inside your Shared Library is by changing the Library View inside the Photos app. To change the Library View, open the Photos app and tap on the 3-dots icon at the top right corner.
In the overflow menu that appears, select Shared Library.
You’ll now see all the content that’s visible in the Shared Library you’re a part of.
When the Library View switches to Shared Library, the 3-dots icon will also be replaced with the multi-user icon to indicate that you’re now viewing contents from Shared Library only.
What happens when you duplicate pictures from Shared Library?
Like any content inside the Photos app, photos and videos from the Shared Library can also be duplicated on your iPhone. When you duplicate a file from the Shared Library, the Photos app will save the copied version inside your Personal Library.
In the screenshot below, you can see the Shared Library pictures marked with multi-user icons, and the duplicates we created are left unmarked. These unmarked ones are saved in your Personal Library inside the Photos app.
How to transfer content from Shared to Personal Library
Similar to transferring your photos to the Shared Library, you can also move content back from the Shared Library to your Personal Library. To move something back to your Personal Library, open the Photos app and tap on Select at the top right corner.
When the Photos app is in Both Libraries view, you’ll see a multi-user icon on pictures and videos that are available inside the Shared Library.
To start moving them back to your Personal Library, tap on the content to select which ones you’d like to transfer.
Once you’ve selected the photos and videos you want to transfer, tap on the 3-dots icon at the bottom right corner.
In the overflow menu that appears, select Move to Personal Library.
The selected content will now be transferred to your Personal Library. The Photos app will also show a “Move to Personal Library Completed” banner at the bottom when the transfer is completed.
