How to Use Two Snapchat Accounts on One Phone

Here, we can operate more than two Snapchat accounts on one iPhone or Android and the crazy methods are as below:

How to Use Two Snapchat Accounts on One Android / iPhone

We all can use multiple app accounts on either iOS or Android without any hassle. I agree that sometimes the security seems too tight that we need to use third-party platforms but that’s okay. That is okay till the time my security isn’t compromised. Nevertheless, there always workarounds to use multiple Snapchat accounts in one device.

The ones who know how to use multiple Snapchat accounts on one device are quite familiar with this method and app. Snapchat++ is something that will give you a platform to have a second Snapchat account on the same iPhone you are currently using. And be assured, you will be logged in to the first Snapchat account while simultaneously logging into the other one.

The process is as follows:

3. Follow the process of creating the account and login.

You are all set to use two Snapchat Accounts on one iPhone successfully. Go ahead and get multiple Snapchat accounts from this method.

Use Parallel Space (iOS + Android)

App Cloning is another way to have multiple accounts of any app on the same device. A self-explanatory term is a tool we can use to clone any app on your phone without any hassle. Parallel Space is one of those apps which creates a clone of the app you want and gives you an altogether second platform to work on.

Please know that it isn’t a third-party app that is giving you a different platform to use multiple Snapchat accounts on one phone.

Follow the process to install and check how to use two Snapchat accounts on one iPhone or Android:

Download Parallel Space (Android / iOS)

Download the Parallel Space app and install it on your phone

Open the app, give the required permissions, and select Snapchat to Clone.

This will result in downloading another Snapchat app on your device.

Once you install it, follow the process of creating the account and you are all set to use the second Snapchat account on the phone.

Now you have both the accounts working and running flawlessly. Isn’t it great?

Use TutuApp (iOS + Android)

Alike Snapchat++, this is another trick to use two Snapchat accounts on one Android or iPhone. All you need to do is, visit the link and download TutuApp on your device.

Tap on the appropriate mobile operating system, download and install the app on your phone.

Follow this by searching for Snapchat in the app.

You might get confused with a lot of Snapchat apps having different suffixes. But, be assured, all of them are clones to the other ones.

So go ahead, select one, and download the app.

Once it’s downloaded, open it and start the process of login. Post this, you are all set to use different Snapchat accounts on a single device.

A good point to remember is that, with TutuApp, you have as many Snapchat accounts as you want.

What If These Above Methods Show Up an Error?

Since these are tips and tricks, there can be incidents where they show an error that prevents you from using multiple Snapchat accounts in one device. What will you do?

Sometimes while trying to access two accounts in one go, you may get an error stating “Untrusted Enterprise Developer”. Obviously, this message will appear on the second app because the first one is already good to go. Follow the below process in case you encounter this error:

Please note that the below process is only for the iPhone:

Among many profiles, find “VNE” and tap on it. Trust the VNE profile name. It will fix the issue and you are all set to use the clone Snapchat app.

Can you be logged in to Snapchat on two devices?

This is another question that comes to our mind. Either we switch our mobile phones more often or just want to check if the feature works. Well, it is possible. Having multiple simultaneous Snapchat logins are possible in different devices. But there is a catch.

We all know that Snapchat has accounts as “Business/official” “Individual” and “Ads”.

So the multiple logins at the same time on different devices are only available on Business accounts. And that too I think is because of the revenue these business/official generate for Snapchat. No other type of account gets this kind of perk to have simultaneous logins in different devices. That’s the catch.

Once you log in to another device, the previous one will automatically get logged out.

Wrapping Up

Please know that some of the above methods are 3rd-party ones while others aren’t. So in case you are wondering and thinking twice about using any untrusted service, go for Parallel Space as you can find it on the App Store. That’s some credibility. Correct?

Don’t forget to share any other trick you use to access multiple Snapchat accounts on your device if that isn’t mentioned above.

How To Set Up And Use Mozilla’s Firefox Accounts

When it comes to the web browsers, like other software, there is a plethora of choice. While most Windows users stick with Internet Explorer – perhaps largely because it comes bundled with the operating system, and they don’t really know about others – Chrome and Firefox have also become popular selections. Even Opera and Safari are available, to name only a couple of alternatives to the big three.

One of several draws in Chrome is the ability to sync the browser. Install it on a new PC or open it on a second system and you are just a Google account log-in away from having your history, passwords, tabs and more. It’s a brilliant and easy solution, and one that should be part of every web browser.

Now Mozilla is testing the waters in Firefox with an improved version of its own – you won’t see it quite yet, unless you happen to reside on the bleeding edge of technology. In that case, you will discover Mozilla Firefox Accounts, which is aiming to be competitive with the Google feature.

I would be remiss if I didn’t spend a moment explaining things here. Firefox comes in four different versions – stable, beta, aurora and nightly. Those names represent the descending path of stability. When beta becomes stable and gets released, then aurora moves to beta – it’s a steady test bed of ideas and features.

Firefox Aurora and Accounts

If you wish to experiment with this new addition to the browser, then you’ll need to be running aurora – a step down in stability from beta, but it isn’t going to simply fail and crash all the time – don’t worry. For the most part, it remains solid, though the occasional glitch is not unheard of.

Sync isn’t entirely new to the platform as Mozilla points out. The company has simply gone to greater lengths to improve the service.

If you have an account, then go ahead and sign in. If not you will need to create one. This requires the usual email and password, but for some strange reason also a year of birth. Depending on your age, this is not precise, as it only goes back to 1991 and then offers a “1990 or prior” option.

As I previously stated, this is not entirely new, but has been greatly improved in the new aurora build of the browser. If you already have a Firefox account for sync, then this won’t affect you, but will make it a bit easier to set up on a new system or alter an existing one. It is simple to set up and use, and I encountered no issues in the process.

How To Slow Down A Video On Snapchat

With the inception of smartphones and mobile applications, a lot of the tools that gave professional cameras a superior edge over its mobile counterparts have shifted to the other side of the camp. You can now professionally perform almost any kind of editing to your photos and videos from your mobile device and one of them involves being able to create slow-motion videos.

Not only can you shoot slow-motion videos from your device but you can also edit your videos to have a slowed-down effect after you’ve shot them. If you’re someone who uses Snapchat, then it’ll be easier for you to slow down videos to post them to your stories as the app features Speed Modifiers for the videos that are available in your gallery.

The following guide will help you slow down a video on Snapchat so that you can create fun slow-motion videos and share it to your friends and family on Snapchat.

The following method can be used to slow down an already captured video from directly within Snapchat.

Step 1: Open Snapchat and tap on the gallery button below the Shutter icon.

Step 2: If the video was captured using Snapchat, select the Snaps tab at the top. Otherwise, tap on the Camera Roll tab.

Step 3: Select the video you want to create the slowed-down effect on.

Step 6 (Optional): You can perform other editions to the video by using any of the tools on the right side of the screen like crop, cut, stickers, text, and sketch.

Step 7: Tap on the ‘Send to’ button on the bottom right to share the slowed-down video to your friends on Snapchat.

Method 2: Using Slow Motion Video FX

Since Snapchat allows only one setting for its slow-motion videos, you might want to use another app for slowing down videos and sharing them on Snapchat. In this guide, we’re using the Slow Motion Video FX app which is pretty straightforward in the way it works. We selected the app for one neat reason and it is that you can select how slow you want the video to be.

Step 1: Download and install the Slow Motion Video FX app from Google Play. Once the app is installed, open it.

Step 2: Tap on the ‘Start Slow motion’ option on the home screen and select ‘Choose movie’.

Option A: Slow down the entire video

Step 3A: When the gallery opens, select the video that you want to slow down and tap on Simple.

Step 4A: Here, you can select the speed you want the video to switch to by sliding through the speed adjustment slider. You can manually choose any speed between 0.25 and 1.00 to make a slow-motion effect on the video. Selecting a value above 1 will fasten the video.

Step 5A: Once the slowed-down video is ready, tap on the Save button at the top right and then select Start Processing.

Step 6A: Once the slow-motion video is fully rendered, you can share the video on Snapchat by tapping on the hamburger icon, then tapping the Share icon, and selecting Snapchat from the Share menu.

Option B: Slow down sections of the video

Step 3B: After Step 2, select the video that you want to slow down and tap on Advanced.

Step 4B: To change speeds of certain parts in the video, select the points according to the speed you want them to run on. Customize the slow-motion effect by considering the following options:

Slide all four points on the graph below the half-way line to slow down the entire video.

Select the start and end points that are positioned on the extreme left and extreme right. In addition to selecting the speed for the start and end points, you can use them to cut out unwanted sections of the video at the start or at the end.

Slide the two points in the middle below the half-way line and keep them at different speeds (anywhere between 0.25 and 1) to give different sections of the video different slow-motion effects.

Step 5B: Once the slowed-down video is ready, tap on the Save button at the top right, and then select Start Processing.

Step 6B: Once the slow-motion video is fully rendered, you can share the video on Snapchat by tapping on the hamburger icon, then tapping the Share icon, and selecting Snapchat from the Share menu.

How To Secure Your Social Media Accounts

Social media scams have become quite common nowadays. Hence, it’s now critical for users to start educating themselves about the risks, while learning how to protect themselves against these ever-growing threats. This article offers a series of tips on how to minimize cyber crime-related dangers on social media.

Why Protecting Your Social Media Accounts Is a Must

We tend to post everything on our social media accounts. From pictures with friends and family to the locations we’ve recently visited or we’re currently at. Unless we’ve switched our profiles to private, all this info is laid out for anyone to see. What’s more, our accounts aren’t even isolated, as they are often connected to other apps we use. For instance, you can link your Instagram or Spotify to your Facebook account.

The good news is that by taking action early on and changing some of your social media habits, such as using the same password for various social media accounts, you can secure all your private data and discourage cybercriminals from targeting your account.

1. Set Strong Passwords

Passwords are usually the first line of defense against social media hacks. Unfortunately, the number one mistake a lot of people make is use the same password for all their social media accounts. This is a practice best avoided, even if remembering all your online logins can be challenging.

For this reason, we recommend that you install a robust password manager on your device. It will help you track all your credentials with ease as well as generate strong passwords when you need them.

Even if you’ve set strong passwords, you should be prepared to change them any time your social media app announces any kind of breach or notifies you of any suspicious activity on your account. Also, setting up a new password is a good idea if you find a virus or malware on your PC or if you’ve recently shared your password with someone else.

Finally, while you definitely shouldn’t change your password once a month, at least not unprompted, an additional security measure can be to generate a new password once a year.

2. Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

One of the most reliable ways to secure your social media accounts is to enable two-factor authentication (2FA).

The way this feature works is that when you log in, you will be required to enter a randomly generated code to verify your account. By doing this, you will add an extra layer of security to your account and make hackers’ job harder, as they would have to have direct access to your phone or authenticator app in order to retrieve the code.

The vast majority of social media apps offer this option, and we show you how to enable 2FA in popular social apps such as Facebook and Snapchat. If possible, opt for an authenticator app over SMS to receive your login codes.

3. Add a Recovery Email and Phone Number

You’ll need an email address to sign up for most social media apps, but adding your phone number is usually optional. However, make sure that you add an email as well as a phone number to your account. It will help with account recovery in case you get hacked or if your account becomes inaccessible to you for any reason.

For instance, on Facebook you can enlist the help of a friend to recover your account through their profile. Once you follow the appropriate steps, you’ll be able to reset your password via a code that can be sent by SMS.

Moreover, checking that your email information is up to date is also important. Most social apps will send email alerts in case something goes wrong with your account, and it’s crucial that you pay attention to these official emails. Don’t ignore them or you may miss out on some urgent information regarding your account. When you finally decide to investigate, it may be too late.

4. Set up Login Alerts (Where Possible)

Login alerts is a feature that’s available on various social apps, but not all. For example, you can enable it on Facebook. This way, you’ll receive a notification each time someone tries to log into your account, allowing you to take action quickly if something is amiss. On Instagram, login alerts are enabled by default, and you’ll receive an email whenever a suspicious login happens (for instance, if Instagram detects a login from a new device).

Some apps also put a feature called “Login activity” at your disposal. If available, it should be checked frequently, so that you can easily identify any logins that don’t belong to you and log out of there fast. When you do that, most of the time you’ll be asked to change your password. Go ahead and do so if you have reason to believe that someone might have been meddling with your account.

5. Use the Built-In Security Checkup

Some apps such as Instagram and Facebook offer a built-in security checkup feature that helps you gauge the security of your account. On Instagram, the feature will check whether you’ve enabled 2FA or added a phone number to your account. If you haven’t, you will be prompted to do so for maximum protection.

Keep in mind that not every social app offers this option, but do check their individual security settings to see if you’re in luck. The built-in security checkup is a quick fix for an account that’s a little bit shaky on security.

Phishing represents a real threat on social media, which has become a fertile ground for all kinds of bots and scammers who are tirelessly trying to access your sensitive data. Many phishing attempts these days come in the form of a link sent either via email or through someone contacting you online. In some cases, even friends can be the source of such dubious emails.

We suggested above that it’s in your best interest not to ignore official emails from various social media sites you’ve signed up with. However, you should tread carefully here, as many of these phishing emails are sent from addresses that can mimic official ones. If you need some help in this department, we have a guide that can help you decide whether you’re dealing with a phishing scam or not.

7. Report Scammers

If you’ve received a suspicious link from someone, don’t just ignore it. You should immediately report the account and the shady activity associated with it to the app in question. All social media apps allow users to do that, and being proactive will help hinder spammers’ efforts in gaining unlawful access to users’ data.

8. Share Less About Yourself Online

While we may get the urge to share as much as possible about ourselves online, it would be wiser, not to mention safer, to refrain from doing that too much.

The thing is, the more information hackers have at their disposal, the easier it becomes for them to get you to fall for their scams. To counter this, we encourage you to make your social media profile private, if the app offers that option (and most of them do).

While many use social media to make new friends, it’s best if you don’t befriend people you don’t know. Social media is teeming with fake profiles and dubious individuals who are all too willing to spread malware, initiate catfishing attempts, or help propagate phishing scams. So be wary about whom you allow access to your profile.

9. Always Sign Out Once You’re Done Using an App

This is a good habit to form. Even if you’re using your social media accounts at home, don’t forget to sign out of them once you’re done browsing on your PC or mobile apps. This will help avoid scenarios where members of the household or guests can gain access to your account inconspicuously.

It’s especially important that you remember to sign out if you’re using a public computer or wireless connections. If you can, abstain from accessing your social media accounts on public or shared computers. It’s extremely easy to eavesdrop on internet traffic on public wireless networks. If you must check your account, never enable the “remember me” or “keep me logged in” options when logging in to your app of choice.

Alternatively, opt for using social media apps within your browser rather than using the dedicated apps. This may make it easier for you to remember to log out once you’re done browsing. Unfortunately, using a browser isn’t possible with all social apps. For example, Snapchat exists only in the form of an app.

10. Secure Your Mobile Device

If you’ve logged in to social media on your mobile device, make sure you’re taking measures to protect the device. Add a passcode or enable face unlocking, to prevent others from accessing your device when you’re not paying attention.

As we recommended above, logging out of your social accounts after each session is also a good practice. Even if your device gets stolen or lost, your private account will be safe.

Frequently Asked Questions What are the signs of a hacked account?

You can tell that your account has been hacked if you notice suspicious activity going on. Here are a few red flags to look out for.

Messages or content that you don’t remember posting

New friends who have been added to your Friend list without your authorization

Emails alerting you of various unknown logins to your account

Suspicious devices showing up in your login activity

Inability to log in to your account though the credentials are correct

What can I do if I suspect that my account has been compromised?

The first thing you should do is change your password. Then, remotely log out of all the devices you don’t recognize. Depending on the social app you’re using, you can report your concerns via official channels. Finally, don’t forget to also alert your friends to ignore any potential links coming from your account while you sort out the matter.

Should I create a dedicated email address for my social media accounts?

It can be a good idea to do so. If any of your social accounts end up being compromised, hackers won’t have access to the valuable information contained in your primary email account. If you think keeping track of multiple email accounts is too much work, we suggest that you learn how to check multiple email accounts from one inbox or consider installing a password manager app.
