Suggested April 2024 The Best Amazon Fire 7 Cases Of 2023

Whether you’re looking for style, versatility, or child-proofing your device, there are several options out there when it comes to choosing the right case for your Amazon Fire 7 2024. We’ve rounded up the best options for you.

MoKo Honey Comb Case for Fire 7

MoKo’s Honey Comb Series silicone case offers lightweight and impact-resistant protection for your Fire 7. The case fits cozily around the device and has openings for convenient access to the camera, control buttons, and ports.

The case does not include a front cover, so you may want to buy a separate screen protector if you’re particularly concerned about your screen safety.

The case is designed to fit the Fire 7 2023 version only and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Here’s a child-proof case from Amazon, so you can be sure it will fit the Fire 7 tablet seamlessly. As you can expect from a child’s case, it is durable and offers protection against drops and bumps; it’s also textured on the outside for additional grip.

The case allows easy access to ports, buttons and cameras. The Amazon Fire Kid-Proof Case comes in 3 colours (blue, pink and yellow) in the UK, though US shoppers also have the additional colour options of pink and black

Caseable is a favourite of ours. The brand offers stunning artwork for a wide range of phones and tablets – and you can also custom design your case if you prefer.

The cases are designed specifically for the Fire 7 (2024 version). The front flap can be folded and transformed into a viewing stand and when closed puts the tablet to sleep (it also wakes up the tablet on opening).

There are also cutouts for access to camera and speakers and a microfiber interior keeps the screen from unwanted scratches.

While the Amazon Fire 7 may not have a particularly alluring exterior, compared to the rose golds and glass casings we see these days for tablets and phones, you may still want to show off its natural splendor with a no-nonsense clear case.

This TPU case from MoKo is soft, flexible and promises to keep your Fire 7 safe from drops, scratches and water. It has raised edges to keep the screen from scuffs. The MoKo clear case comes with a lifetime warranty.

Bears vs Babies Case with Screen Protector

If your tablet needs considerable child-proofing, Bear vs Babies’ case offers a range of impressive safeguarding features that you may like.

The case is built of a heavy-duty and environment-friendly EVA foam which absorbs shock and prevents your device screen from shattering. If that’s not enough, the case even comes with a tempered glass screen protector. Your child may also appreciate the convenient soft-grip handle integrated into the case.

The back of the case features additional pull-out stands to prop up your device up. You can also use these stands with the handle to prop the device up at a lower angle. Designed exclusively for the Fire 7 2023 tablet, the case is washable and comes with a lifetime warranty.

It’s not available in the US, though there is a similar case on Amazon for $14.66 (plus $2.99 shipping) – it doesn’t include a screen protector, but the handle is fashioned like cat ears, which your child may appreciate even more.

MoKo Case for Fire 7

Designed specifically for the Fire 7 2023 tablet, MoKo offers stylish and lightweight protection for your case in an assortment of vibrant colours and graphics. The 3 sectioned front cover folds into a stand for hands-free viewing.

The case is made of synthetic leather and uses a microfiber interior to protect your screen from dust. The case also conveniently puts your device to sleep on closing. The translucent back cover is also fingerprint proof.

Heavy users will be pleased to know MoKo offers a lifetime warranty.

Navitech Black Case

For those who prefer to keep their valuables safely stowed in one place, Navitech’s tablet case doubles as a wallet. This affordable yet stylish two-in-one case is made of premium synthetic leather and secures your device in place using elastic straps. Users may also find the stylus holder useful.

The only drawback to this case is you would need to remove your device to access the rear-facing camera–but if you primarily use your tablet for web and content browsing, this may not be an issue.

Amazon Fire 7 Case

Amazon’s own case is another excellent option for those looking for sleek and simple protection for their Fire 7 tablet. The diagonally-folding front cover allows hands-free viewing in both landscape and portrait orientation. The case also puts your device to sleep on closing and stayed closed using a magnetic fastener.

This fabric-bound case is available in five different single-tone colours: Black, Indigo Blue, Purple, Red, and Yellow. The case is compatible with the Fire 7 2023 only.

The Best Gaming Pc Cases: Top Picks For 2023

CoolerMaster MasterBox 5+

Corsair Obsidian 500D

The 500D is a gaming PC case for the grown-ups. Unlike the SE version (which is much more expensive) this has an aluminium front panel instead of glass, and the tinted glass sides let you see the interior lighting but not all the detail, so it’s a lot subtler than the in-your-face designs.

It’s also nice that the doors hinge open for easy access: they’re held shut by magnets.

There’s plenty of room for water coolers: a 360mm unit behind the front panel and 240mm or 280mm in the top section.

Cables can be routed tidily thanks to a well-thought-out system that hides the bulk of the cables even on the right-hand side of the case behind the motherboard tray, where there are mounts for three SSDs and two 3.5in hard drives.

Usefully the front panel has two USB 3.1 ports and a USB-C port as well. There are removable dust filters beneath the power supply and in the top and front panels, too.

Note that the included pair of 120mm fans are un-lit: if you want the full RGB experience, you’ll have to buy those separately or go with the 500D SE.

It’s a little more expensive than others here, but the build quality makes it well worth it. We found it for just £119.95 at Scan.co.uk.

Bitfenix Aurora

Best Prices Today:

Riotoro CR500 TG

The Riotoro name isn’t particularly well known as of yet, but that is set to change over the next few years. The company was started by ex-employees of well-known brands such as Nvidia and Corsair so the pedigree Is certainly there.

This particular case is targeting the same area of the market that the MasterBox 5 inhabits. It combines excellent build quality, a basic by effective cooling and filtration system and substantial fan support.

The chassis itself contains a tempered glass panel, impressive acoustic performance all around and the ability to hold three 120mm fans.

This case is extremely good value for money, giving the market leader in CoolerMaster some very serious competition.

Silverstone Redline Series RL06

Silverstone has a long standing reputation for high quality, stylish products. Offering everything from power supplies to fans and coolers, their Redline Series RL06 is no exception to their already outstanding reputation.

Aesthetically this case catches the eye right away, with the white on black contrast making it look very striking.

The case is of steel construction with a plastic front-facing panel. The top panel has a magnetic metal-mesh filter, which just under has space for two 120mm or 140mm fans.

The top of the case has two USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, headphone jacks, a hard drive activity LED and a power button. Behind the front panel you’ll be able to fit three 120mm intake fans.

The fan filtration system for the case is basic but functional. The locations of the filters at the top and front panels make cleaning them easy, whereas the bottom filter must be accessed by turning the PC on its side.

The Redline RL06 is fantastic value for such a well presented high quality case.

Be Quiet Dark Base 700 RGB

On the face it of it the Dark Base 700 is a very good case. It offers plenty of room for a top end gaming rig build, has built in RGB led strips which flank the front edges of the case, has a built-in fan controller and a tempered glass panel.

It comes with a pair of near-inaudible 140mm fans and space for up to a 360mm water cooler in the top panel. However, the panel itself has only a couple of exhaust vents at the rear, which isn’t ideal for cooling.

The front connectors include a pair of USB 3.0 ports, a switch for the fan controller, a button to change six preset colours for the LEDs and – handily – a USB-C port. It’s a slight shame the port is fitted into a USB-A-size hole though.

With a full-length PSU shroud and plastic covers over the five hard drive bays, it’s possible to build a very neat PC in the Dark Base 700.

Amazon Fire Tablet Problems And How To Fix Them

Eric Zeman / Android Authority

The Kindle Fire range, now known as Amazon Fire, has been quite the success story in the world of Android tablets. Since the original Kindle Fire made its debut, Amazon’s devices have seen numerous upgrades, with the HD coming in various sizes and offering content for different audiences. Of course, even the most popular products out there have some problems, gathered some of the most common problems with the Amazon Fire HD, and offer potential solutions to fix them!

Hold down the power button for forty seconds to force reset the device (the tablet will turn off), and then tap the power button to turn it back on. This may clear out any glitches that are causing the problem.

Press down the power button for twenty seconds until the device is completely off, then plug in the charger and hit the power button again to turn it on. If you think that your battery may be empty, leave it to charge for about half an hour or until the charge light turns green before you try to turn it back on.

Turn off your Fire HD, then charge for a couple of hours. Wait for the charging light to turn green before you attempt to turn it back on again.

Try the charger with an alternate device to ensure that the cable or charger is not broken.

If the light to indicate charging does not appear, try pushing the cable further or moving it gently. Some Fire HD’s have been found to have loose ports. If your port does turn out to be loose, the best option is to pick up a replacement.

Problem #3: Audio problems

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority

A few users have reported problems with getting audio to come through their headphones or speakers on their Fire tablets.

Potential Solutions:

If your speakers aren’t working, try plugging in a set of headphones then unplugging them again, or soft reboot your tablet by turning it off and on again.

If you have a case on your device and your headphones aren’t working correctly, try removing the case and trying the headphones again.

Try jiggling the headphone jack gently and see whether there’s a sound. If it does, you may need to contact Amazon about getting a replacement, as the port or speakers are likely faulty.

Close the Prime Video app on your device and restart the tablet.

You might see errors if the same account is being on multiple devices. You can only stream the same title on two devices simultaneously.

Of course, make sure that you have a stable Internet connection. You may need to restart your Wi-Fi router.

Make sure that you aren’t connected to a VPN or a proxy server. Amazon Prime Video doesn’t work with these services.

Problem #5: E-books disappearing

Edgar Cervantes / Android Authority

Some Fire HD tablet owners cannot find their downloaded e-books, or the e-book isn’t opening when the device is offline.

Potential solutions:

There is a way to download the Google Play Store on a Fire tablet, which could cause this problem. First, find the Kindle app in the Play Store and uninstall it (it’s already on the device via the Amazon Store and could cause a conflict). In the Play Store, open the menu (three vertical lines at the top left) and go to Settings. Tap on “Auto-update apps” and select “Do not auto-update apps.” You will have to manually update the other apps you’ve downloaded via the Play Store, but it will stop Amazon apps from updating.

If you don’t have the Play Store installed, it could be a sync issue. Force reset the tablet by holding the power button for 40 seconds or until it restarts and then sync or e-books again.

Restart the tablet and check if the connection is back.

Download a Wi-Fi analyzer app to make sure that channels in your area are not too busy.

Of course, make sure that your internet connection is actually working by testing it with another device.

Charge your tablet for at least half an hour or until the charge light is green. Then hold the power button for 40 seconds or more until the device restarts.

Some users have found that plugging the tablet into a computer makes it load past the logo screen.

You might have to reboot the system by going into Recovery Mode. To do so, first power off the device. Turn it on and press and hold the power and volume down buttons simultaneously. Navigate to the “Reboot System Now” option using the volume up and down keys. Press the power button to select this option.

5 Best Ipad Mini Cases In 2023

Apple’s default iPad Mini SmartCover does an excellent job of keeping your iPad Mini safe. That’s as far as the screen is concerned. If you are overwhelmed or surprised by the SmartCover, you should remember that it’s not “complete protection.” No offense, but Apple’s SmartCover isn’t a good deal for $40. The market is inundated with plenty of cases for the iPad Mini. You’d probably find one from every large brand like Otterbox (which has a Defender Series for iPad Mini) or Case-Mate. However, we’ve set our sights on a handful of iPad mini cases that satisfy our rules for the iPad mini.

3. Elegant Choise

Elegant Choise is designed to be a stylish protective case. Just like DEFENDER SERIES, it also features triple layers of structure to withstand shock.

The 7 Best Gamecube Games Of All Time

Released in 2001, the GameCube followed the N64 and brought an impressive library of titles with it. It featured one of the best controller designs of all time (which is still used by dedicated Switch players today) but faltered due to a lack of online features and a limited launch library.

Compared to its competitors, the Xbox and the Playstation 2, many players felt the GameCube lacked a certain something. That said, the system featured a library of fantastic games that are still worth playing today—if you can get your hands on them.

Table of Contents

This list of best GameCube games are not easy to emulate or find in the wild, but if you do, they are well worth it. Also, check out our YouTube channel where we made a short video with some gameplay footage too:

Animal Crossing

Published in 2001, Animal Crossing has a strange concept: you live in a town and befriend your neighbors, pay off debt to expand your home, and live an otherwise simple, idyllic life. It’s also played in real-time, with the seasons in the real world reflected in-game. Sure, you could “time travel” by changing the clock on your GameCube, but doing so detracted from the point of the game.

If you failed to save before turning off the console, the next time you started playing, a mole named Mr. Resetti appears and begins to yell at you. It developed a cult following that is still seen today, especially with the recent release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the Nintendo Switch.

TimeSplitters 2

TimeSplitters 2 was one of the wackiest games in the GameCube’s lineup. One of a limited number of FPS titles on the console, TimeSplitters 2 had an odd single player mode whose story consisted of ten levels centered around traveling through different time periods and stopping an evil group from destroying history.

The true value of the game lay in its multiplayer mode, however. It offered fun on par with GoldenEye on the N64, offering levels set throughout history with weapons to match. There’s just a certain charm to rampaging through early 20th century Chicago with a laser gun. The game also features a Map Maker for you to design your own level and characters that range from a fish bowl on a robot body to a Harley Quinn lookalike.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker breaks away from the traditional formula and teams Link with a sentient boat named King of Red Lions. The world of Hyrule is submerged in water, with only scattered islands remaining. The Wind Waker also departed from the previous title in favor of a more cell-shaded graphical style.

Super Smash Bros Melee

Considered one of the greatest video games ever created – and definitely one of the best GameCube games – Super Smash Bros Melee took the phenomena that was Super Smash Bros and launched it to a new level. Melee retained all of the characters from the original games and introduced brand-new faces, including characters from Fire Emblem—a game that had never before been released outside of Japan.

Super Smash Bros Melee introduced new single-player gameplay elements, trophies, and multiplayer modes that helped transform it from a fun mash-up fighting game to one of the most popular competitive fighting games in history.

Super Mario Sunshine

The Super Mario series has always distinguished itself with new gameplay elements and settings in each iteration of the game, and Super Mario Sunshine was no different. Forgoing the usual stomp-and-smash gameplay in favor of the F.L.U.D.D., a backpack that shot water that could clear graffiti left behind by the Shadow Mario.

It all takes place on the Isle Delfino, a tropical resort that Mario, Peach, and Toad are vacationing on. Super Mario Sunshine isn’t as talked about as Super Mario 64 or Super Mario Galaxy, but it’s the best Mario game on the GameCube.

Pikmin

Pikmin is a game that blends puzzle and real-time strategy elements together for a result that’s equal parts adorable and challenging. The game is named for the plant-like creatures known as Pikmin, beings that inhabit an unknown planet the protagonist crash-lands on.

You take the role of Captain Olimar and must befriend Pikmin and use their unique abilities to recover parts of your spaceship before your air supply runs out. There are several different colors of Pikmin, each with different abilities to utilize to help repair the ship.

Metroid Prime

The Metroid series has been a longtime favorite of fans, but until Metroid Prime, it was always a 2D side scrolling platformer. Metroid Prime re-imagined the series as a first person shooter but held on to the same feeling as the previous games.

Metroid Prime is exploration-heavy, with many areas locked behind doors that can only be opened once you have gotten the right ability. You take on the familiar role of Samus Aran and fight your way across the planet Tallon IV, eventually encountering old fan-favorites like Ridley and a Metroid.

While definitely a departure from Super Metroid or any of the 2D titles, Metroid Prime remains one of the best games in the series. Even now fans eagerly await the release of Metroid Prime 4 on the Nintendo Switch, years after the first three titles.
