How to use Google VoiceGoogle Voice is an incredibly simple service: use your Google account to create a virtual phone number to make calls and texts to other cell phones entirely over Wi-Fi or cellular data and not over actual SMS text. All you’ll need is a U.S. phone number to link to your Google Voice account, and you can get started immediately.
You can choose your phone number by area code, so if you care about where you will appear to be calling from, it’s best to pick an appropriate number rather than winging it and picking something completely random.
You will need an existing U.S. phone number you have access to. You’re getting a second, free virtual number because it’s tied to an actual phone number on Google’s back-end.

Windows 11 comes equipped with a Voice Typing feature, enabling you to enter text on a PC just by speaking the words. This tool employs online speech recognition powered by Azure Speech services. As a result, you will require an Internet connection and a working microphone to start using this tool. The following tutorial explains how to enable Voice Typing in Windows 11 and what to do if it is not working.
What Is Voice Typing and Why Should You Use It?
An average person can type around 40 words per minute, but we can speak around 130 words per minute, making voice typing a huge time saver.
Voice Typing can minimize hand muscle stress if your typing sessions last for many hours daily.
Voice Typing can help you achieve better accuracy, as your documents will not have spelling errors if you pronounce words correctly.
There is no restriction on where you can use Voice Typing in Windows. You can deploy the tool wherever you have a text box/window on your PC’s screen or inside a website/app.
How to Activate Voice Typing in WindowsFollow these steps to activate Voice Typing on your PC.
Open a word processor such as Microsoft Word or a text box on your PC.
Press Windows + H on your keyboard to open the Voice Typing tool.

1. Make Sure You’re Using the Correct LanguageIf you’ve selected an incorrect language, Voice Typing will not be able to identify your words. Therefore, you must select the correct language using the steps below.
Choose the language you want to use from the “Speech language” section. Also check the “Recognize non-native accents for this language” option if your chosen language is not your native language.
Alternatively, you can use the Windows + Spacebar shortcut to switch languages.
2. Check Whether Your Microphone Is EnabledVoice Typing will not work if your Microphone is disabled, so you’ll need to turn it on.
Scroll down the right pane until you reach the “App permissions” section and select the “Microphone” tab.
Toggle on “Microphone access.” You may also want to enable the “Let apps access your microphone” option.
3. Troubleshoot Built-in RecordingWindows 11 has built-in troubleshooters for almost all hardware and software issues. Running its dedicated Recording troubleshooter can find and fix any issues preventing the Voice Typing feature from working. Even if it doesn’t fix the problem right away, the troubleshooter offers more details about the problem, which could lead to a solution.
Press the “Other troubleshooters” option.
You will see various options to troubleshoot on the right. Scroll down and choose “Recording Audio.”
Study the report to see whether there is an issue in recording audio and change settings accordingly.
4. Update Microphone DriverA faulty microphone driver could cause Voice Typing to stop working. Therefore, you should check whether your microphone driver needs to be updated.
Press Windows + R to open the Run utility, then type “devmgmt.msc” to launch Device Manager.

Change Google Assistant LanguageGoogle now lets you choose between more than 40 languages to interact with Google Assistant. Here’s how you can change the language of Google Assistant on your Android device:
1. Open the Google app on your Android smartphone and head to Settings.

3. Note that you can add up to two languages. To change the primary language, tap on the first option. To add the second language, tap on the “Add a language” option.

Installing and enabling Gboard on that iPhone and Pad is straightforward. You just have to install Gboard from the App Store and enable it from settings.

Steps To Enable Voice Typing on iPhone or iPad 1. How to install and Setup GboardFirst you have to install Gboard on your iPhone or iPad. In case you have already installed Google keyboard on your iPhone or iPad then you do not need to install it again.
Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad to install the application.
Now type Gboard in the search back and then search for the app.
Now you will see a GET button in front of the application. Tap GETnext to ″Gboard.″
Once it is done Gboard will be installed on your device.
How to set up Gboard:
Once the Gboard is installed you have to enable it before using it.
2. No tap on the General icon.
3. Now tap on the Keyboard.
4. Now tap on the Keyboards from the top. For the list of Keyboards installed.
5. Now you can add the Gboard that you have previously installed.
6. Tap on the New Keyboard. Tap Gboard.

3. Now if the normal iPhone keyboard opens then you have to select Gboard manually. To select Gboard, tap on the Globe icon located on the lower bar of the keyboard.
4. Now tap on the Gboard to select it.
5. Now for activating the Voice typing you have to long press the spacebar until you get notice about voice typing.
6. Now press OK until you get Speak Now popup.
Now you are ready to use Voice input on your iPad or iPhone.
When you want to use voice input you have to long press the keyboard.
Now you can say what you want to type.
When you finish speaking the Goggle will type whatever you have said.
Note: For inserting punctuation marks you have to say its name and Google will type it for you.

Here are some tips on how to better use one of Apple’s popular organization tools.
Simplify with Siri.Siri is a great resource for when you don’t feel like typing. You can simply speak into your device and say something like, “Hey, Siri, set a reminder to clean the dishes at 7:30pm tonight”. This is especially great to use on Apple Watch when you don’t have your phone nearby but you need to remember something.
You can even use Siri through your HomePod or through Apple CarPlay.
Customize your lists.The Reminders app offers a variety of personalizations you can add to your lists. When making a list, you can give it a name, color, and icon. You can even convert it to a Smart List (more on this below).
The Reminders app has a number of helpful functions:
Share lists and give editing permissions to collaborate with others.
Rearrange lists and/or tasks however you’d like, just drag and drop in any order. Individual tasks can be dropped into a certain list or folder.
Mark tasks as completed. You can hide a completed task or leave it up to view.
After the list is made, you can personalize it by tapping the three dots in the top right corner and selecting “Show List Info.” List Info offers the ability to make changes to your current list. You can also tap the “i” icon to the right of your task.

Other customizations include the option to flag a task, add a varying priority, include a subtask or image, or add to an iMessage conversation. The iMessage option attaches a reminder to a text thread.
You can even manage your reminders through different email accounts you have on your device. This is a great way to separate lists between personal, work, school, and other categories.
Smart Lists are pretty smart.Smart lists are a neat way to automatically organize your reminders by tags, due dates, times, location, flags, and priority. You can differentiate a Smart List from a regular list as the Smart List has a small gear on its icon.
Smart Lists will also create a new tag from the name of the original list. Each tag is added to every task created within the list. For example, in the Smart List below, my list was first named, “Disney vacation agenda” but renamed “Disney agenda.” However, my tag still is “#Disney-vacation-agenda.”
Within my tasks, I have added date, time, location, and additional tags. I also utilized the option to add notes to my tasks as it may add helpful context. I even added an image to one task and a URL to another task.
Pro Tip: Another cool thing you can do is make your list icon an emoji. When in List Info, hit the smiley icon in the top left.
It’s important to note that once your list is a Smart List, you cannot convert it back to a regular list.
Don’t forget about location-based reminders.Location-based reminders help remind you of an item when you arrive or leave a specific location. To use this feature, Location Services must be turned on. Go to Settings, then Privacy, and toggle Location Services on. If you use CarPlay, it’ll remind you when your phone connects or disconnects from a paired car. You can add a location to a specific task by tapping the “i” icon next to a task and tapping “Location.”
